Introduction

An essence is the relational property of having a set of parts ordered in such a way as to collectively perform some activity". For example, it belongs to the essence of a house to keep the bad weather out, which is why it has walls and a roof. Humans are different from houses because - unlike houses - they don't have an inbuilt purpose: they are free to choose their own purpose and thereby shape their essence; thus, their existence precedes their essence. - Jonathan Webber

Hello! My name is Lavina Angeline and I am a sophomore at the University of Indonesia, studying Industrial Engineering.

My hobby is exploring topics in psychology through informative Youtube videos and books. I think it's important to understand ourselves and empathise with others to have a meaningful life. I also love reading about philosophy and the schools of thought of ancient Greek philosophers. Have you ever heard about existentialism? It's summed up in the quote in the first paragraph of this entry and I think it's an intriguing perspective to look at life. I also jog every day to relieve stress, it's definitely very nice given that I have more time at home now.

I have taken an MBTI test multiple times in the past, but my recent result was an INFJ personality type. People have said they initially thought of me as an extrovert, but I don't mind spending time alone. I have a lawful neutral alignment. This is what it says on the website:

Those of this alignment view regulation as all-important, taking a middle ground betwixt evil and good. This is because the ultimate harmony of the world--and the whole universe--is considered by lawful neutral creatures to have its sole hope rest upon law and order.

I think these online personality tests should be taken with a grain of salt, but it is entertaining sometimes to read suggestions about yourself :)

This is a photo of me acting for the climax scene of a high school musical romance drama. This is also the day where I won best lead actress that year
